- Family, friends and colleagues converged at the Balmoral Convention Centre, Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos; to celebrate the 60th birthday of Afro Juju star, Sir Shina Peters.
The fun-filled evening which had Oba Adedapo Tejuoso as Royal Father of the day had a star-studded field of Master of Ceremonies: Ali Baba, AY, Tee A and Koffi.
Before that grand event, the celebrant showed that he has the milk of human kindness flowing in his veins when he hosted less-privileged children coordinated by Iyaniwura Children Care Foundation.
The celebrant was surrounded by the children while he cut his birthday cake and they were engulfed in joy.The highest point of the ceremony was when SSP triumphantly rode into the arena in a white horse like Jesus.
Many Juju artistes including Evangelist Ebenezer Obey thrilled guests at the event which was organized by a Committee of Friends comprising Prince Bisi Olatilo, Bashorun Dele Momodu, Kunle Abesin, Gboyega Okegbenro, Segun Okeowo, Michael Effiong, Tunde Osinibosi and Azuh Arinze
Dignitaries at the occasion included: Aremo Olusegun Osoba, Senator Lanre Tejuoso, Senator Florence Ita-Giwa, Dr. Rueben Abati, Bashorun Dele Momodu, Aare Ona Kankanfo Gani Adams, Gbenga Adewusi, Saheed Balogun, Chief Tony Okoroji, Yomi Fash Lanso, Ras Kimono and Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde.
