Hon. Adedamola Richard Kasunmu (ARK) representing Ikeja Constituency 2 at the Lagos State House of Assembly moved some inches closer to realising his second term bid today when he defeated the PDP candidate and other Contestants with a wide margin in his polling unit.
Popularly called ARK, Hon. Kasunmu casted his ballots at polling unit 043 on Seriki Aro Avenue at 11.15am Saturday 9th March 2019 amidst cheers from his Constituents.
At the end of voting, the result showed that Hon. Kasunmu garnered a total of 120 votes while the PDP candidate scored 24.
Also in the Governorship election the APC Candidate, Mr Babajide Sanwoolu scored 118 against PDP’s Jimi Agbaje who polling 28.
Hon. Kasunmu was elected 2015 to the State House of Assembly and has been adjudged as one of the best Legislators of the current 8th Assembly.
The total results for the Constituency are still being collated.
