The Accord party House of Reps candidate for Yewa South/Ipokia Federal Constituency in the coming election, Omooba Segun Adewale popularly known as OSA, has thrown his support behind the Governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka to emerge the Governor of Ogun State in next month election.

According to a statement issued by his media aide, Oluwaseyi Babarinde, OSA, who was once a governorship aspirant in Ogun State opined that his friend, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka has what it takes to win the highest seat in the state compared to any other person in the Ogun west and the state in general.

Adewale boasted that apart from his preference for Gboyega Isiaka to clinch the governorship seat due to the cordial and political relationship that exit between them, he believes GNI possesses other critical qualities like experience, qualifications and independence of mind among others which makes him stand out among his contenders.

“Wherever I go, I have never hidden my support for an Ogun west person to become the next governor, and by preference, the person of Gboyega Nasir Isiaka. I know him more than any other candidate presently running for the Ogun governorship slot and I stand by him any day any time.”

OSA recalled that Gboyega has been there (governance) before and understand how government works adding that he only needs to galvanise the human and state resources at his disposal to achieve the desired results.

Speaking on other reasons he’s behind him, OSA was quoted as saying: “Politically speaking, when you look at the situation in Ogun West today, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka is the man, and people believe in him and are willing to vote for him. From Traditional rulers to Students, Civil Servants, Artisans and others, GNI is the toast of the people. I see no other candidate in Ogun west beating him to it.”

“As a matter of fact, the people have done it for him before, and I ‘m sure they will do it for him again.” He said.

OSA, whose plan is to become the people’s representative in the Federal House of Representative starting from June this year,  strongly believe that the Yewa-Awori political gladiators need to come together as one to correct the wrong perception about them in Ogun West, and to him, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka top the list of such persons hence his support for him.

He however urged his teeming supporters in Yewa South and Ipokia local government to go out en mass and vote for him in next election, adding that such gesture be extended to Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, in March as well and making sure that they stand with their votes until it counts.
