Ambassador extra ordinary of Islands of Antigua and Barbuda to Federal Republic of Nigeria, Ambassador Wallace Williams urge Africans to be self-sufficient that the continent has enough resources to solve her problems and not to depend on her colonial masters in times of need.

Wallace Williams, who was in Nigeria to represent Professor Patrick Lumumba at the Africa Illustrious Award, when the former won the Pan Africanist of all time Award stated during his speech that “There is a need to foster unity among Africans in diaspora and Africans needs to move away from system that has enslave, governing and making them think like slave “

In a congratulatory video sent to our correspondents, Professor Patrick Lumumba thank the organizers of the award that the award is a seal of approval of the modern work Pan Africanists engage in.
“I am inspired by this illustrious award and to be named the pan Africanist of all times as a living recipient among great men as Julius Nyerere Nkrumah Patrice Lumumba and Nelson Mandela, men whom I admired”.

Speaking further, Professor Patrick Lumumba, who is a role model to many Africa youths said, “This award energizes those of us who believe in the Pan African Agenda to give meaning to the vision of our predecessors who long understood that a divided Africa would be manipulated by the Imperialists to the detriment of the Continent and her People.
When we talk about unity we are not naive or idealistic to the point of being Armchair theorists but we genuinely believe that a borderless Africa with a single passport and a single currency is within our grasp”.

The honorary consul, who was appointed as an Ambassador during the administration of Former President Olusegun Obasanjo revealed that direct flight from Africa to the Caribbean will commence soon.

Dr. Wallace Williams has dedicated over four decades of his life to foster ties between people , businesses , governments and civil-societies in Africa , Europe and Americans in the areas of Tourism , Entertainment , Education and Youth Development .
The Diplomat in recent time has been the lead in the campaign for Citizenship for Investment for Nigerians, who want to have a second passport in the Islands of Antigua and Barbuda
