The in-coming Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Dr Kadri Obafemi Hamzat has lost his father.
Alhaji Mufutau Olatunji Hamzat died on the evening of Sunday, 12 May 2019.
He was in his mid-80s. The late Hamzat was a member of the Governors Advisory Committee (GAC) of Lagos State and one of the elders of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He was the former National Vice Chairman of the Allaince for Democracy (AD) before it metamorphosed into Action Congress (AC), Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) and now APC.
He will be buried on Monday, 13 May, 2019 at his Yaya Abatan Street, Ogba residence in accordance with Islamic injunctions.
